Vindiou L'Amour est Cerise Rouge is a full-bodied red wine crafted from Gamay, Caladoc, and Merlot, offering stability and a smooth, approachable profile perfect for dinner. The wine is produced by two friends, Thomas and Cyprien, who focus on minimal intervention, sourcing grapes from small plots worked by local artisanal growers. The wine undergoes whole-bunch fermentation, foot stomping, and spontaneous fermentation, with aging in 2-4 year-old Burgundy barrels and stainless steel. Vindiou's wines, made in the Northern Rhône and Ardèche, are characterized by light extraction and excellent drinkability, offering aromas typical of the Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph appellations. With a small production and limited availability, this wine is a rare find outside France.
