Toscolo Chianti Classico '21 BLUE LABEL

A standout Chianti Classico from the excellent 2021 vintage. Bright aromas of sour cherry, violet and fresh herbs leap from the glass, framed by subtle earthy undertones. The medium-bodied palate delivers pure Sangiovese character - tart red fruits, leather and stony minerality - with refreshing acidity and fine-grained tannins. Aged 12 months in a combination of large oak casks and concrete tanks, it shows wonderful typicity and drinkability. The finish is clean and persistent. Enjoy with classic Tuscan fare like bistecca alla Fiorentina, wild boar pappardelle or Pecorino cheese. An excellent value in premium Chianti Classico.
