Tapiz Malbec Black Tears is a standout wine from Fincas Patagonicas, produced in Mendoza’s Uco Valley at 4,430 feet above sea level. The estate’s high-altitude San Pablo vineyard, known for its exceptional terroir, is sustainably farmed and yields 100% Malbec grapes. Winemakers Fabian Valenzuela and Jean-Claude Berrouet, under the guidance of owner Patricia Ortiz, craft this wine using cold pre-maceration, fermentation in stainless steel, and 100% malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels.
