Solena Hyland Vineyard Pinot Noir '22

From a cool, marine-influenced site in the Eola-Amity Hills, this Pinot is translucent ruby with violet edges. The nose is a perfumed ode to Oregon’s terroir—wild strawberry, rose petal, damp moss, and a touch of clove from 18 months in 25% new François Frères barrels. The palate is weightless yet intense, with flavors of blood orange, pomegranate seed, and a stony finish that Wine Spectator (95 pts) calls "red-fruited brilliance." Harvested at 22.5° Brix for freshness; peak drinking 2025–2035. Pair with tea-smoked duck or chanterelle mushroom tart.
