Ripe cranberry and cassis on the nose. Focused dark bramble fruit on the palate, layered with cocoa and clove. Vibrant acidity balances beautifully with opulent fruit and carries through to a long and elegant finish.

The 2020 Ridge Geyserville reaches a new level of excellence. I have tasted nearly every vintage since I first tasted the 1972 vintage in the mid-1970s. This wine excels with aromas and flavors of alluring boysenberries, formidable blackberries, and racy minerality.
