Pacific Redwood Cab '22

From old vines near the Anderson Valley, this cool-climate Cabernet shows deep ruby with aromas of cassis, cedar and a distinctive coastal sage note. The medium-bodied palate offers classic flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate and firm but approachable tannins. Wine Spectator (90 pts) notes its "surprising elegance for the price," crediting the 2022 vintage's long, even ripening (harvested October 10th at 24° Brix). Aged 14 months in 30% new American oak. Enjoy now-2028 with grilled ribeye or mushroom risotto.
