Rioja at 2300 feet; vines planted 1968; clayey-calcareous, ferrous, alluvial soil; hand harvested; destemmed; fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel and concrete tanks; malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels; aged at least 6 months in barrel. Rich aromas of white fruit compote with a hint of vanilla. A silky and floral palate.
