The 2024er Riesling Feinherb Barrel X is an off-dry wine (with 16 g/l of residual sugar) which comes half from Estate vineyards and half from purchased fruit. It offers a quite aromatic and seductive nose of yellow peach, apricot, cinnamon, leather, and candied grapefruit. The wine combines good fruity intensity on the palate with nice acidity. The finish is nicely medium-long and direct. This riper version of Alt Scheidt is quite attractive.
