From cool, coastal-influenced vineyards at 1,200 ft elevation, this translucent ruby Pinot Noir offers an aromatic fireworks display of wild strawberry, rose petal, and a touch of forest floor from native yeast fermentation. The palate is feather-light yet intensely flavorful - cranberry and pomegranate notes dance across silky tannins with acidity that Wine Spectator (91 pts) calls "nearly Burgundian in its cut." Whole-cluster fermented (30%) and aged 10 months in neutral French oak, this 2023 vintage (harvested October 1st at 23.5° Brix) shows remarkable freshness (pH 3.4) despite California's warmth. Serve slightly chilled (55°F) with herb-roasted salmon or mushroom risotto. Drink now-2028. Organic certification ensures pure, unadulterated expression of terroir.
