This young Cabernet shows deep purple-black color with lifted aromas of cassis, violet pastille, and fresh cigars. Aged 10 months in French oak (25% new), it offers approachable flavors of black cherry, cocoa powder, and sweet tobacco that earned 91 points. The finish lingers with vanilla and pencil shavings, ready now with herb-crusted lamb chops or cellar for 3-5 years.
