Crow Canyon Merlot '22

From Sonoma's Bennett Valley, this Merlot shows translucent ruby hue and aromas of red currant, rose petal, and crushed pepper. Granitic soils lend finesse while aging in French oak (20% new) frames the fruit - elegant flavors of pomegranate, blood orange, and stony minerality earned 93 points. The finish reveals dried violets, pairing beautifully with duck breast or wild mushroom tart.
