Christopher Michael Pinot Gris ‘23

A skin-contact Pinot Gris that redefines the variety. Copper-tinged with golden highlights, it offers a nose of apricot jam, bergamot, and a hint of beeswax from 7 days on skins. The palate is textural yet dry, with flavors of quince paste, ginger root, and a tannic grip that Vinous (92 pts) compares to "Collio meets Alsace." Fermented in neutral oak; serve slightly chilled (50°F) with miso-glazed black cod or saffron risotto.
