Christopher Barth Riesling 'Melaphyr' '19

From the volcanic Melaphyr soils of Rheinhessen, this Riesling offers intense aromas of peach, apricot, and crushed stone with subtle floral undertones. The palate is medium-bodied yet powerful, with flavors of ripe citrus, honey, and a distinctive smoky minerality that scored 93 points. Off-dry with perfect balance, it finishes with incredible persistence. Excellent with spicy Asian dishes or rich seafood preparations.
