From Montalcino's northern slopes, this classic Brunello presents garnet hues and complex aromas of cherry, leather, and tobacco. The palate is powerful yet refined - flavors of fig, dark chocolate, and exotic spices cascade across velvety tannins (95 points). Aged 36 months in large oak, it finishes with minute-long persistence. Just beginning to show its potential but will age gracefully for 15+ years - decant 2 hours for bistecca alla Fiorentina.
