Brooks Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills '22

The 2022 Brooks Pinot Noir from the Eola-Amity Hills AVA is a beautifully concentrated and complex wine, crafted from the best vineyards in the region. It showcases a vibrant blend of red fruit flavors, including cherry tart, loganberry, and pomegranate, along with hints of cherry cola, orange oil, and fresh licorice. The wine offers terrific tension on the palate and a refreshing, salty finish, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a crisp yet expressive Pinot Noir. Aged in French oak and produced biodynamically, it is a blend of grapes from five different hand-sorted, destemmed vineyards, with 1,000 cases made. The wine is an excellent representation of Brooks Winery’s commitment to holistic farming and winemaking. Founded by Jimi Brooks, who drew inspiration from his global winemaking experience, the winery has become known for its focus on expressive and balanced wines from the Willamette Valley. Although Jimi is no longer with us, his dedication to biodynamic practices and his love for the region's terroir live on through the wines and the team, led by his son Pascal and longtime friend Chris Williams. This Pinot Noir is a perfect fireside sipper, with the potential to age beautifully through 2031.
