Marques de Caceres, Union Vitivinicola, S.A., a historic Alliance founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner, combines the best vine growers and vineyards in La Rioja with a Bordeaux concept to produce quality wines. Bunches are carefully de-stemmed before temperature-controlled fermentation and prolonged maceration with skins for maximum color, aroma, and tannins. Malolactic fermentation occurs in oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks, followed by aging in French oak barrels with subsequent racking every 6 months. The resulting wine is a dark and dense ruby color with a refined and complex aroma of cherry, vanilla, and toasted notes. Silky, well-defined tannins and exquisite flavors create a balanced and full mouthfeel, making this Reserva a standout vintage.
