Peachy Canyon Winery Westside Zinfandel 20

Pale garnet in hue, bordering on brick, this Zinfandel is a blend of 23 different Zinfandel clones. Extremely balanced, with light grainy tannins, nice length, and a full body. The spicy nose of bay leaves, rose petals, white pepper, coriander, and anise opens up to aromas of raspberry and blackberry brambles, rosehips, and cardamom. The palate is full of raspberry brambles, strawberry-rhubarb pie, rich dark cherries, cassis, and pomegranates, accented with hints of ripe stone-fruit, red currants, and vanilla.
