The philosophy of Oyster Bay is to produce fine, distinctively regional wines that are elegant and assertive with glorious fruit flavors. As a founding member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand, they have always recognized nature as the true producer of their wines. They are conscious of their environment and they work hard to identify sensitive areas such as wetlands, streams, and native vegetation to ensure that their vineyard practices do not affect the plants and animals that inhabit these areas. Pale rose in color but vivid in its flavors of strawberry and red berry fruits, with aromas of summer florals. Pair with summery dishes like strawberry and goats cheese salad and succotash or raw or lightly cooked shellfish.
