Burgundy wine is becoming increasingly harder to obtain. Over the past years, we have seen less and less of these wines appear in our market. With global demand increasing and maximum yields restricted in the region, the result has been not only less wine but higher prices as well. While this may sound like poor news, and it is, we have found unbelievable opportunity. 

Whether you purchase wine for consumption, investment, or a little bit of both, we highly recommend you start stocking up on Burgundy today! Increasing global demand, supply chain disruptions, supply price increases, labor shortages, and a devastating vintage are setting up the perfect storm in Burgundy. With yields reduced by an estimated 50% or more throughout Burgundy in 2021 due to extreme frost, there will simply not be very much wine. Although the quality appears to be quite good, prices are expected to jump when the wines begin to hit the market.  

Mongeard-Mugneret is one of our favorite producers that has always flown under the radar producing high quality Burgundy for very reasonable prices. Unfortunately, his secret appears to be out, and people are beginning to flock to his wines. Now is the time to make a move on these wines as they will not last long in our market, and at the moment they still represent great value in the region!
