The 2019 Erdener Treppchen Riesling Auslese is clear yet still yeasty on the concentrated, spicy and slatey nose. Sweet, piquant and classy on the palate, this is a tight and concentrated Auslese with bitter grapefruit on the finish. It is still shy after the recent bottling yet indicates remarkable concentration, grip and tension.
