Jack and Dolores Cakebread got their start in Napa Valley in the 1970s after making an offer to buy the Sturdivant Ranch in Rutherford. They quickly found themselves in the middle of a family operated wine business expanding throughout Napa Valley and eventually into Anderson Valley to the north. . The Two Creeks Pinot is a blend of the estates Annahala and Apple Barn vineyards. The Annahala vineyards closer proximity to the coast provides fresh aromatics and lift to the Apple Barns more intense and rich fruit character, creating a beautifully balanced and complex wine. On the nose, the Pinot Noir is floral and red fruited, with dewy rose, violet, and fresh red cherry and raspberry.
