Nebbiolo Virtual Tasting
This week we will have the amazing opportunity to try two wines from the appellation of Barbaresco. The wines from this region tend to be of a slightly lighter tanninic profile that that of Barolo. Thus, Barbaresco’s tend to age a little quicker and are more approachable at a younger age. The wines often feature bouquets of cherry, rose, leather, anise, and licorice. On the palate they are known to have high levels of acidity and tannin, while still having significant body and incorporated fruit. These are wines made for food and should be paired with cuisine containing richer flavors and higher fat contents.
Purchase the two wines for automatic admittance to our virtual tasting event on Friday, July 16th at 6:30pm. This week we have an option for either a 375mL (half bottle) or 750mL (regular bottle) of the Sorì Paitin Barbaresco!
