Product Spotlight - Esporão "Bio Series"

We are delighted to present a new wine series from a winery we deeply admire: Herdade do Esporão Estate. The winery is located in the stunning but often overlooked Alentejo region of Portugal. We believe this area is one of the most enchanting wine destinations in Europe. It’s a must-visit on any trip to Portugal, just a short hour's drive east of Lisbon and close to the picturesque town of Évora.

Herdade do Esporão’s approach to wildlife, diversity, and regenerative agriculture is one of the best in the industry, and having had the opportunity to sample their many wines, olive oils, and culinary offerings, we can attest to the superior quality. The wines are an absolute steal, and when we close our eyes, it even takes us right back to the vineyards!

Direct and elegant, with predominant tropical notes and hints of fruit. Fresh and vibrant on the palate, with a long finish.

Expressive nose with predominant notes of red and wild berries. The palate is intense and balanced, with well-integrated tannins leading to a long, persistent finish.

Organic

Winery Note on the Bio Series wines: This wine is produced exclusively from grapes from Herdade do Esporão, using organic production methods. Seeking greater freshness, the first grape varieties to be harvested are selected. Fermentation and aging in concrete vats (porosity/neutrality of aromas) enhances the freshness and purity of the fruit, resulting in a direct, fresh, and vibrant wine.
