Our New Year's Champagne Pick

Hervé Brisson is a micro domaine located in the Côtes des Blancs appellation of Champagne with just about 3.5 hectares of organically farmed vineyards. This is a Champagne producer you need to put on your radar for some of the best value in the entire region!

When it comes to farming, we love nothing more than to hear producers with a philosophy like this: “I favor all methods based on life, that is to say the study of soils, plants, insects... Thus, I sow plants to help the soil, I plant hedges to help insects and birds, I limit tillage.” - Hervé Brisson

Hervé Brisson “Les Aulnes” Extra Brut Champagne

Val du Petit Morin, Côte des Blancs, Champagne, France

Varietal: 100% Chardonnay

Finessed, sophisticated, and delicious with a lively bouquet of green apples, citrus zest, and hints of freshly baked bread. Crisp orchard fruits of tart apple and ripe pear frame the beautiful minerality so often found in the best blanc de blancs of Champagne. The finish is long, crisp and with an irresistible hint of brioche.
